Class/Activity Leaders

Leading a class or activity in an area of expertise (e.g., arts, wellness, education).
Arriving early and maintaining attendance.
Keeping the class space organized.
Commitment: Varies based on activity schedule.
Training: Specific to the activity/workshop.
Dress Code: BSRI volunteer t-shirt required.
Recommended Skills: Leadership, organization, creativity, communication.

Assisting with congregate lunch service.
Cleaning up after meal service.
Commitment: At least one shift per week (9:30 AM-12:30 PM).
Training: One-on-one with staff or an experienced volunteer.
Dress Code: BSRI volunteer t-shirt required, closed-toe shoes, hairnet/hat, gloves.
Recommended Skills: Food service knowledge, organization, professionalism.
Required Forms: Food Safety Form. (Will receive and sign on the first day of volunteering from the volunteer supervisor)

Commitment: At least once a week, 40 hours per year, plus 4 quarterly meetings.
Training: Online certification and shadowing an experienced counselor.
