Meals on Wheels Delivery Team
- Picking up and delivering meals to homebound seniors.
- Using a BSRI-provided phone for route navigation.
- Reporting undelivered meals immediately.
- Commitment: At least one 2-hour shift per week (10 AM-12 PM).
- Training: One-on-one training with an experienced volunteer.
- Dress Code: BSRI volunteer t-shirt required.
- Requirements: Reliable personal vehicle, Motor Vehicle Insurance.

Nutrition Support-Kitchen Assistance or Meal Prep
- Packing meal trays for Meals on Wheels.
- Assisting with congregate lunch service.
- Cleaning up after meal service.
- Commitment: At least one shift per week (9:30 AM-12:30 PM).
- Training: One-on-one with staff or an experienced volunteer.
- Dress Code: BSRI volunteer t-shirt required, closed-toe shoes, hairnet/hat, gloves.
- Recommended Skills: Food service knowledge, organization, professionalism.
- Required Forms: Food Safety Form. (Will receive and sign on the first day of volunteering from the volunteer supervisor)

SHIIP Volunteer-Medicare Assistance or SHIIP Data
- Assisting clients with Medicare decisions.
- Helping prevent fraud and errors.
- Maintaining confidentiality.
- Commitment: At least once a week, 40 hours per year, plus 4 quarterly meetings.
- Training: Online certification and shadowing an experienced counselor.
- Dress Code: BSRI volunteer t-shirt required.
